- The Moissanite: Dazzling Rainbow Fire. Moissanite has a different personality. It exhibits higher dispersion, meaning it throws more fiery, rainbow-colored flashes than a diamond. It’s also incredibly hard (9.25 on the Mohs scale), making it brilliant for daily wear. The value is exceptional–offering larger, incredibly sparkly stones for a fraction of the cost. Our advice? Don’t think of it as a “fake diamond.” See it as a spectacular, modern choice for maximum sparkle on a budget.
Studio Tip: If you adore classic, white sparkle and ultimate tradition, a diamond is your match. If you crave exceptional brilliance and size with a contemporary value, moissanite will dazzle you.
